Reserves sweep Corries aside

CARDIFF CORINTHIANS    0    V   PENYBONT RESERVES   7

The young Bont, as seems to be the norm started slow and were intimidated by a physical Cardiff side who seemed more content on arguing than playing football.

It took time for the Bont to settle but once they did they were by far the more controlled side. Penybont had the first effort on goal when a Josh Jones cross fell for Evan Denscombe he neatly headed it past the hosts keeper. The Bont continued to press and they doubled their lead shortly after when Josh Jones pressed to score a second.

Rafal Pacheloc continued to be strong and scored his first of the day shortly before half time. The young Bont eased to victory through three first half goals.

HALF TIME: 3-0

Penybont made the perfect start to the second half when they made it 4-0 in the 47th minute when Matthew Symons found himself with only the keeper to beat. As the half wore on, Bont started to find more space in the wide positions which they used to their advantage.

The Bont defence stayed strong with Jeffery Williams making his debut defensively giving a man of the match performance. Connor Goldsworthy and Kieran Davies remained clinical all afternoon in midfield.

It got worse for the Corries when Rafal Pacheloc rifled in an unstoppable Second of the afternoon in style whilst winning the ball back and firing in a 25 yard beauty. 5-0 But as they grew in confidence, the Bont side started to make an even bigger impact with the hosts now just along for the ride.

Penybont continued to dominate and Rafal Pacheloc completed his afternoon with a superb performance and a hat trick 6-0. The Corries simply could not contain a rampant Bont side and Penybont signed off their afternoon with a comfortable win in style with Evan Denscombe getting his second of the afteroon 7-0.

FINAL SCORE: 7-0 and another good afternoons work, well done lads
