A minute later, a Kurt Thornbury shot was well-saved by Lidoís keeper, Chris Curtis.

On 44 minutes, a James Parry pass resulted in a Webster goal and a 2-0 lead at the break for Penybont.

In the 60th minute, Lidoís Morgan Griffiths was dismissed by Aberdare referee, Jon Bryant, for a two-footed foul on Tom Davies.

Two minutes later it was 3-0 to Penybont when a Woolfenden pass resulted in a Thornbury goal.
