On Saturday, Penybont's third team travelled to play Llangynwyd Rangers in Division One of the Celtic Tyres Bridgend and District League.

The final score was 2-2 with Penybont's goals courtesy of Ethan Nixon and Lloyd McVeigh.

On Sunday, Penybont Ladies played Cascade YC at home at the KYMCO Stadium in the Welsh Women's League and won 5-3. Penybont's goals were scored by Shona Davies 4 and Sam Jackson 1.

Also on Sunday, Penybont's under-19's team travelled to play Pontardawe Town in a Round One group match in the Welsh League's Trophy Finder League Youth Cup.

Penybont opened the scoring in the second minute when a low cross from the left by Connor Goldsworthy was fired home by Tom Davies.

Pontardawe responded with two goals, the first in the eighth minute by Grant Stamp and the second by Daryl Hughes in the 20th minute.

Hughes added a third for Pontardawe on the hour mark, and Tyler Brock finalised the scoring for the home team in the 84th minute.

In the 86th minute, Penybont's Davies was sent off by referee Paul Meredith for what appeared to be retaliation.

Final score - Pontardawe Town 4, Penybont 1.
