Llanelli Town visit the Kymco Stadium
PUBLISHED: 3rd Sep 17
Monday night football returns to the Kymco Stadium on the 4th of September and what a cracker is in store.

We welcome Llanelli Town in one of the biggest games of the season so far as first meets second.

A resurgent Llanelli Town are our opponents and are bringing a star studded squad with them. Manager Andy Hill has put together a great squad and after winning the Welsh League 2nd Division last year, have started in exactly the same vein and have won 3 out of 3 already this season with wins over Taffs Well (5 - 2), Briton Ferry Llansawel (4 - 1) and Cambrian & Clydach (4 - 2). So far goals have come from Joe Clarke (4), Lee Trundle (3), James Loveridge (3), Joe Davies (2) and Jordan Fallows (1). This gives Llanelli Town a record of played 3, won 3, scored 13 and conceded 5. This puts them in 2nd place with a points tally of 9.

Penybont FC are also on a great run and have also won all 3 games in the league and have a record of played 3, won 3, scored 13 and conceded only 2 goals to put them in 1st place with a points tally of 9. We started with a 2 - 1 win over Monmouth Town, followed that up with a 8 - 1 victory over Undy Athletic and last time out travelled to Cwmamman United and came home with a 3 - 0. Manager Rhys Griffiths and his assistant Martyn Giles also know that the team hasn't got out of 3rd gear so far and know there is a lot more to come from this squad.

Kick off is at 7:30pm.
